"I know the vocabulary, but I can't speak."

This is the "Translation Block." You hear English, translate it to Japanese, think of a response in Japanese, translate it back to English... and by then, the conversation has moved on. (Learn more about how to stop translating)

In this course, we practice breaking this cycle.

The adult classes focus on fluency over accuracy. The environment is relaxed and pressure-free, allowing for practice "thinking in English" without worrying about making grammar mistakes.

This course serves adults of all ages—from university students to active seniors maintaining their English fluency. All levels welcome, from complete beginners to advanced speakers.

Course Highlights

  • Small Groups (Maximum 6): You will speak for most of the lesson. There is no hiding in the back.
  • Private Mentorship: I've been living in Japan since 1990 and understand exactly why Japanese speakers struggle with fluency.
  • Topic-Based Learning: Topics include real news, culture, travel, and opinions—not just textbook dialogues.
  • Relaxed Atmosphere: A comfortable space where laughter is common and stress is left at the door.
